A 1981 graduate of Madras Medical College, Madres, India, Dr. Prakash Vaidy, completed his postgraduate surgical residency from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Vaidy is a board-certified general surgeon and holds a Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh,United Kingdom. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons along with many other professional organizations.
Dr Vaidy serves on a number of hospital-based committees and holds the position as Director of the Lap-Band program at Union Hospital.
His efforts were rewarded in 2002 when he was voted “Physician of the Year” by the Staff and Physicians at Union Hospital
Dr. Vaidy has been in practice in Elkton,Maryland since 1997
A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Hien Q. Nguyen, graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1996 and completed his post graduate surgical residency from Christiana Health Care System in 2001.
Dr. Nguyen served as Chairman of the department of Surgery at Union Hospital. He is the medical director of the Wound Center at Union Hospital.
Along with his experience is general surgery, Dr. Nguyen holds a sub-specialty in Thoracic surgery.
Elizabeth Lowe, M.D., received her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg, VA and her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA in 1996.
A board-certified surgeon, Dr, Lowe, is the medical director of the Breast Health Center at Union Hospital since 2004. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and a number of other professional organizations.
She is a resident of Cecil County along with her husband and family.
